The New Norm Magazine is a biannual, travel, and lifestyle magazine based in Hong Kong. The New Norm Magazine is dedicated to inspiring individuals to explore and experience new cultures and traditions and to divert from the typical tourist routes.
Our second issue was shaped around the concept of “change”, by introducing a design element in our publication. We interview Mark Anthony Fox, Page Hotels, Noah & Grey, Building Narrative and Laurie Poast Atelier to learn about the creative process behind the development of their brand. We explore the city of Tokyo and Kyoto, where we take our readers on a journey around the historical city, through a series of ancient temples, architecture, and streets. In this issue, we also worked with a community of photographers, writers, artists and locals from different parts of the world, featuring a tour around the whimsical villages and enchanting fjords in Faroe Islands, memorizing mosques in Iran, an adventure around the quaint seaside resort of Sankt Peter Ording, a look into the future of downtown Seattle and the legacy of neon signboards in Hong Kong.
